Primary Objectives:
The Registrar is the initial contact for phone inquiries by students interested in enrolling in a BarBri course. The Registrar answers questions on BarBri courses, sends out informational materials, registers students and processes billing and payment.
Major Areas of Accountability:
  1. Answers incoming calls, responds to requests for information on course dates, location, price and content. Promotes BarBri courses by emphasizing the features and benefits. Maintains a working knowledge of BarBri courses and upcoming course schedules.
  2. Enrolls students by entering information into the computer registration system, processes payment and mails out relevant course materials to prospective students and enrolled students. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Sets up and maintains student files. (30%)
  3. Prepares cash reports and weekly deposits. Processes credit card payments. Issues refunds. Prepares and distributes computer billing request. (10%)
  4. Resolves billing discrepancies between enrollment data and payment amounts by phone or in writing. Resolves delinquent accounts. (10%)
  5. Prepares weekly enrollment reports, course lists and quarterly reports for regional management. (10%)
  6. Performs additional general administrative functions.

Qualifications
Education:
  • 4 year college degree (BA/BS) required
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Knowledge of general office practices
  • Proficient in basic computer applications including Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Clear and pleasant voice, good interpersonal skill and phone etiquette
  • Good organizational and time skills
Previous Experience:
  • 3 years experience in a business environment with duties involving customer service
