Description

Full-Time position

Knowledge and experience in pediatric nursing.
Promotes the delivery of quality care through education via various methods.
Functions as a teacher and role model for nursing staff while collaborating closely with the Education Coordinator, Director of Education and Inpatient Nursing Services, Team Leaders and Administrative Nurse Coordinators in the planning of the education process for nursing staff.

Requirements

Graduate from an approved school of professional nursing required. BSN preferred
Three (3) years of experience in pediatrics required.
Clinical Eduactor experience preferred.
Currently licensed as a professional nurse in the State of Illinois.
Demonstrate knowledge and expertise in pediatric nursing.
Function as an exceptional role model to staff and are familiar with policies of regulatory agencies: JCAHO, Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH), Illinois Nurse Practice Act, Occupational Safety Health Administration (OSHA).
