Job Details:	FT position. The Director of Nursing is a Registered Nurse (RN) that practices within the scope of the Illinois Nurse Practice Act to ensure the delivery of comprehensive, high quality, individualized nursing care, based upon knowledge and experience, the nursing process and leadership skills. The RN incorporates the carative factors of human care and performs established procedures in accordance with the organizations and the nursing divisions policies, procedures, and standards of care. The Director of Nursing oversees the clinical and patient care delivery and has 24-hour accountability, authority and responsibility of the operations of assigned units. Duties include responsibility for planning, coordinating directing, and evaluating patient services and the personnel responsible for the delivery of those services. Adheres to the mission, values and philosophy of Resurrection Health Care (RHC). Five or more years of progressive clinical and management nursing experience are required. Bachelors degree required; Masters Degree in Nursing preferred. Illinois RN License required. Experienced Nursing Leader (i.e. progressive leadership positions - 10 yrs or greater). Master prepared, surgical services (i.e. OR, PACU) experience preferred. Excellent communication and team building skills.
